Summary
CMS removed the MCBS gender-identity question, replaced "sex assigned at birth" with a generic "sex" item, deleted the "something else" sexual-orientation response option and its open-ended follow-up, and dropped questions about disrespectful treatment by providers based on sexual orientation or gender identity — eliminating measurement of discrimination against LGBT Medicare beneficiaries.
