By April 2025 at least 34 federal online archives and repositories carried the notice "This repository is under review for potential modification in compliance with Administration directives," signaling ongoing content screening beyond the initial purge. In the same period the Department of Education eliminated the ability of FAFSA applicants to identify as nonbinary (see sections 5 and 6).
