Verified state of the NIH Guide: the 2024 SGM definition notice is gone while its neighbors remain

NOT-OD-24-169, the notice released September 6, 2024 that revised NIH's operative definition of SGM populations — expanding it to read "individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, transgender, non-binary, Two-Spirit, queer, and/or intersex," adding "non-binary" and replacing "differences of sex development" with "variation in sex characteristics" — returns HTTP 404 Not Found at its NIH Guide URL. Adjacent notices in the same series remain live and retrievable: NOT-OD-24-168 (Sept. 4, 2024) and NOT-OD-24-170 (Sept. 9, 2024), as do NOT-OD-19-139 (Aug. 28, 2019), NOT-OD-22-160 (July 1, 2022), NOT-OD-24-072 (Mar. 11, 2024), and NOT-OD-24-122 (May 9, 2024). The selective 404 against live neighbors indicates targeted removal rather than a directory or site restructuring. The effect is to leave NOT-OD-19-139's older and narrower definition as the only definitional notice in the Guide, while NOT-OD-19-139 itself still links forward to the now-missing 2024 notice. No rescission notice announcing the removal was located. The date of removal was not publicly announced; it occurred at some point between September 2024 and this verification.
