Summary
In a 60-day Paperwork Reduction Act notice for the Aviation Security Customer Satisfaction Performance Measurement Passenger Survey (OMB Control No. 1652-0013), TSA states that "Section 3(c) of Executive Order 14168 . . . requires Federal agencies to use the term 'sex' and not 'gender' in all applicable agency policies and documents," and removes the survey's optional demographic question that used the term "gender." The question is deleted rather than relabeled, eliminating the data element entirely. TSA carried the revision to OMB in a 30-day notice on August 14, 2025.
