Summary

The Center's announced 2025–26 season contains no Pride or LGBTQ-designated programming, the first such omission after years in which the Center had run Pride programming (including a 2021 drag festival). Reporting noted that the season nonetheless included four touring productions built around men performing in women's clothing — "Mrs. Doubtfire," "Moulin Rouge!," "Chicago," and "Monty Python's Spamalot" — indicating that the prohibition operated against LGBTQ-identified and Pride-designated programming rather than against cross-dressing performance as such.
