Summary
Acting on the Domestic Policy Council's EO 14253 review ("Saving America's Story" report on the National Museum of American History), directs corrective measures including temporary visitor signage warning of "biased" content and creation of corrective exhibits. The order's text does not itself mention gender or transgender topics; it is included because it extends and enforces the EO 14253 content-control program under which transgender-related exhibits (including the American Women's History Museum directive) are governed (see section 12). EO number 14416; 91 FR 47925 (July 29, 2026).
