121MINUTE ORDER: Following the procedure outlined in Section III of the Court's Standing Order, the parties have contacted the Court concerning a discovery dispute. In particular, Defendant AFA seeks an additional 90 minutes to depose Plaintiff Marli Brown regarding conversations she has had with her father about this lawsuit. During her original deposition, Brown had asserted an attorney-client privilege regarding those conversations, which Plaintiffs have since withdrawn. Plaintiffs now concede AFA is entitled to additional deposition time, but argue that 90 minutes is "disproportionate" and "could be used for harassment." The Court finds the requested 90 minutes is reasonable, and grants Defendant AFA's request. The parties shall schedule the supplemental deposition forthwith. Authorized by Judge Barbara J. Rothstein. 122MINUTE ORDER: Plaintiffs have contacted the Court seeking clarification regarding the location of the supplemental deposition of Marli Brown. The Court encourages the parties to consider the efficiencies for both sides of conducting that deposition remotely. However, the additional expense of the supplemental deposition can be attributed to Plaintiffs' improvidently asserted attorney-client privilege during Brown's first deposition. Accordingly, in the event the parties cannot agree to a deposition by videoconference, the Court grants Defendant AFA's request that the supplemental deposition be conducted in Seattle.
