SUMMONS Not Issued as to All Defendants (znmw)
MINUTE ORDER: Plaintiff filed this action on 11/24/2025. Plaintiff is not proceeding in forma pauperis and is therefore responsible for serving Defendant with process, consisting of the summons and a copy of the complaint. Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(c). Accordingly, Plaintiff must submit a summons to the Clerk for a signature, but she has not done so to date. Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(a), (b). If a defendant is not served within 90 days after the complaint is filed, the court must dismiss the case or order that service be made within a specified time. Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(m). While more than 90 days have already passed, the Court will allow an additional 90 days for the plaintiff to request summons and effectuate service. Plaintiff is therefore ORDERED to submit a summons to the Clerk for signature and serve Defendants in accordance with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure by June 2, 2026. If Defendants are not served by that date, the case may be dismissed. Signed by Judge Royce C. Lamberth on 3/2/2026. (lcrcl1)
