MINUTE ORDER. Before the Court are four sealed filings: the defendants' 25 Sealed Motion and 26 Sealed Opposition and the plaintiff's 30 Sealed Document and 31 Sealed Document. The parties have not filed accompanying motions to seal, and the defendants assert that sealing their filings is unnecessary. See Defendants' 27 Notice of Filing Redacted Copy. Accordingly, it is ORDERED that the plaintiff shall file, on or before October 13, 2026, a motion to file under seal that explains the need for sealing, with reference both to the 25, 26, 30, 31 sealed documents and to the Hubbard factors. See United States v. Hubbard, 650 F.2d 293, 317-22 (D.C. Cir. 1980). So Ordered by Judge Dabney L. Friedrich on October 6, 2026. (lcdlf1)
MINUTE ORDER. The defendants are ORDERED to file any response to the plaintiff's 34 Motion to Partially Seal on or before October 22, 2026. The plaintiff shall file any reply on or before October 29, 2026. So Ordered by Judge Dabney L. Friedrich on October 15, 2026. (lcdlf1)
MINUTE ORDER. The United States filed its 36 Sealed Reply to Opposition without an accompanying motion to seal. Accordingly, it is ORDERED that the 36 reply is STRICKEN. It is further ORDERED that on or before November 5, 2026, the parties shall confer to determine the appropriate redactions in the 36 reply; the defendants shall re-file the reply with an accompanying motion to seal; and the defendants shall file on the public docket a redacted version of the reply that is consistent with the Court's earlier order of October 29, 2026. To the extent that the parties disagree over future redactions, they shall jointly contact chambers via email (at [email address removed]) with a concise description of each party's position. If necessary, the Court will schedule a telephonic status conference to resolve the dispute. It is further ORDERED that all sealed filings in this case shall be accompanied by (1) a motion to seal that references the Hubbard factors, see United States v. Hubbard, 650 F.2d 293, 317-22 (D.C. Cir. 1980), and (2) a redacted copy filed on the public docket. So Ordered by Judge Dabney L. Friedrich on October 29, 2026. (lcdlf1)
