General Assembly Proposed Bill No. 411 January Session, 2011 LCO No. 1956 Referred to Committee on Planning and Development Introduced by: SEN. DOYLE, 9th Dist. AN ACT CONCERNING MARRIAGE LICENSE FEES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to waive the fee for obtaining a certified copy of a marriage license for any couple whose civil union was merged by operation of law into a marriage. Statement of Purpose: To waive the fee to obtain certain marriage licenses.
