HR 31 - AS INTRODUCED 2026 SESSION 26-2713 12/07 HOUSE RESOLUTION 31 A RESOLUTION urging New Hampshire counties to establish co-ed sports leagues. SPONSORS: Rep. Morse, Merr. 3 COMMITTEE: Municipal and County Government ----------------------------------------------------------------- ANALYSIS This resolution urges counties to establish and support the growth of co-ed sports leagues. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 26-2713 12/07 STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty-Six A RESOLUTION urging New Hampshire counties to establish co-ed sports leagues. Whereas, inclusive recreational opportunities foster community engagement, personal development, and social cohesion across all demographics; and Whereas, traditional gender-segregated sports leagues may unintentionally reinforce outdated norms and limit participation for individuals who do not identify with binary gender categories; and Whereas, co-ed sports leagues promote equality, mutual respect, and teamwork among participants of all genders; now, therefore, be it Resolved by the House of Representatives: That the counties are hereby urged to establish and support co-ed sports leagues that encourage men and women to compete together voluntarily, therefore allowing individuals identifying as transgender to compete voluntarily outside of more forceful gender-based competition within the public school system. That the counties actively pursue fundraising strategies to ensure the sustainability and growth of these co-ed sports leagues. That the house clerk is hereby directed to transmit copies of this resolution to each county in the state and the New Hampshire Association of Counties.
