A BILL
To prohibit certain Federal activity with respect to the pro-
motion of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer,
and Intersex Pride Month and the display of flags rep-
resenting sexual orientation or gender identity on Fed-
eral property or grounds, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Patriotism Not Pride

Act’’.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON CERTAIN FEDERAL ACTIVITY

SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR GENDER IDEN-

TITY.

(a) PROMOTION
OF
LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL,
7
TRANSGENDER,
QUEER,
AND
INTERSEX
PRIDE
8
MONTH.—No Federal funds may be used by an agency
9
to develop, organize, administer, engage in, promote, or
10
endorse any activity, including any event, initiative, official
11
communication, social media post, educational program,
12
or public campaign, that aims to promote or recognize
13
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex
14
Pride Month or any event with a similar theme.

(b) FLAGS ON FEDERAL PROPERTY OR GROUNDS.—
16
No flag that represents sexual orientation or gender iden-
17
tity may be displayed by an agency on Federal property
18
or grounds.

(c) DEFINITION OF AGENCY.—In this section, the
20
term ‘‘agency’’ has the meaning given the term in section
21
551(1) of title 5, United States Code.
