Summary
Companion to EO 14183. Abolishes every DEI office in DoD/DHS armed services and prohibits the Armed Forces, service academies, and DoD-operated schools from "promoting" enumerated "un-American" theories, expressly including "gender ideology" as defined in EO 14168 §2(f). Underpins removal of transgender-related instructional content and observances across military institutions (see sections 4, 12). EO number 14185; 90 FR 8763 (Feb. 3, 2025).
