Summary
AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49, Chapter 5 and Title 49, Chapter 6, relative to kindergarten through grade twelve education.
Curator notes
Deletes "family, social, or cultural background; or sexual orientation" from statute and substitutes in "family background; or the student's membership in a protected class under federal or state law" Also deletes "'Medically accurate' means information that is grounded in evidence-based, peer-reviewed science and research;" in the education section of laws.
