Verification note. Question wording copied verbatim from the Rasmussen Reports public 'Questions' page. Percentages come from the free portion of the Rasmussen article; the full topline and crosstabs sit behind Rasmussen's Platinum paywall (/platinum/...), so items marked with empty results could not be retrieved. Wayback Machine was unavailable (Internet Archive offline) at time of access. Q1 percentages are from the article '54% Oppose Transgender Sports Trend' (Mar 2, 2021). Q2 percentages are paywalled.
Figures below are transcribed from these documents. Where they disagree with the source, the source governs.

Do you favor or oppose allowing transgender students to participate on the sports teams of the gender they identify with?
Wording notes: the 2019 trailing clause about 'biological males' playing 'girls' sports' has been removed, making this the clean version of the same item
neutral — with the 2019 interpretive clause stripped out this is a plain favor/oppose eligibility question. Comparing it against the 2019 version is the cleanest single-house wording experiment in this sweep: same firm, same panel, same lead-in, 29% favor with the clause versus 32% without it, while opposition rose 51% to 54% as the undecided share collapsed from 20% to 14%
