Verification note. PARTIAL. Field dates, n and MoE are from the AJC write-up and are reliable, but the AJC did not publish verbatim question wording and the UGA SPIA topline was not located in this session. Percentages are reported by the AJC with hedges ('more than 70%', 'more than 54%', 'nearly 47%'); the numeric values recorded here are those hedged figures and should be treated as approximate lower bounds. No party breaks published. || FULLY RESOLVED. The AJC article (403 to the fetch tool, fine via curl) links a DocumentCloud crosstab file; the 29-page PDF 'AJC 2025 Legislative Survey, conducted by the SPIA Survey Research Center' was downloaded and its text extracted this session. Everything the previous record lacked is now present: verbatim wording for all three transgender items (Q15, Q16, Q17), the complete five-category distributions, and full crosstabs by sex, race, age, education, ideology, party, income and 2024 presidential vote. Full methodology: live interviewer telephone survey January 2-10 2025, 1,000 Georgia registered voters, dual-frame sample of about 93 percent cell and 7 percent landline drawn from L2 voter-file records, English only, raked on education, race, sex, age and party, margin of error 3.1 points. The AJC's hedged newspaper figures are now resolved to exact values: 'more than 70%' on sports is 70.1 (59.9 strongly plus 10.2 somewhat favor); 'more than 54%' on bathrooms is 54.2 (46.8 plus 7.4); 'nearly 47%' strongly agreeing is 46.8; and the discrimination net of 65 is 64.8 (40.0 a great deal plus 24.8 a fair amount), with 21.0 saying 'some'. Party breaks, which the previous note said were not published, are present in the crosstab and are recorded here.

Would you favor or oppose laws or policies that require transgender athletes to compete on sports teams that match the sex on their original birth certificate, not the gender they identify with?
